Kickboxing is a stand-up combat sport based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defence, as a contact sport and in our case a fantastic activity for fitness and building confidence. Banff Fitness Kickboxing utilizes many of the cardio, strength, and drills used to train Kyokushin practitioners and prepare them for tournament combat without the concern of being hit. You will hit, kick, and punch your way to better shape following these principles.

Julie Miller is the primary instructor for Banff Fitness Kickboxing. Julie is a black belt in Kyokushin Karate, has fought full contact karate internationally, assisted in training dozens of Banff Karate competitors of all ages and is a Certified Level 1 Fitness Kickboxing Canada Instructor.
